The Ongoing KNEC (Kenya National Examination Council) Assessments

At Roshen Lakeview Academy, learning is an active, engaging journey. Over the past few weeks, our classrooms and outdoor spaces have been transformed into vibrant hubs of creativity, scientific inquiry, and practical problem-solving as our learners engage in the ongoing Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC)- Competency-Based Education (CBE) assessments.

Unlike traditional testing systems that rely solely on memorization, these school-based assessments focus on practical capabilities testing what learners can do, not just what they can remember. Through hands-on projects spanning across Agriculture, Science and Technology, and Creative Arts and Sports, our students are translating lessons from their textbooks into real-world competencies.

We are incredibly proud to announce that our Grade 4 and Grade 5 learners have successfully completed their practical assessments and project milestones. From cultivating localized agricultural initiatives to executing creative arts projects and scientific experiments, these students demonstrated remarkable innovation and critical thinking. Our dedicated teaching staff has already compiled and securely uploaded these scores to the KNEC central portal, ensuring our learners' cumulative academic growth is perfectly captured.

With that major milestone reached, our focus now smoothly transitions to our Grade 3, Grade 7, and Grade 8 cohorts, who are currently immersed in their respective assessment tasks. Whether it is our junior school students diving deeper into integrated sciences a or our early years learners exploring the energy across the school is inspiring.
